The SP-55 FI TS ROS is an innovative single-cylinder two-stroke engine developed by Sky Power International with an integrated fuel injection system and a displacement of 55 cm³. The engine is characterized by its compact design and advanced technology, which makes it particularly suitable for use in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

With an output of 4.3 hp (3.2 kW) at 7000 rpm and a torque of 4.8 Nm at 5500 rpm, the SP-55 FI TS ROS offers outstanding performance. The light weight engine has a speed range of 2200 to 8000 rpm. The bore diameter is 45.00 mm, and the stroke is 35.00 mm. The operating voltage is between 12 and 15 V DC.

A special highlight of the SP-55 FI TS ROS is the integrated fuel injection system, which ensures precise fuel dosage and efficient operation. The dual ignition provides additional reliability and operational safety. Another unique feature is the rear output shaft, which allows a generator or starter-generator to be mounted directly on the engine. This makes the SP-55 FI TS ROS particularly suitable for hybrid applications where electrical energy has to be generated on board.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight, the SP-55 FI TS ROS is ideal for a range of UAV platforms, including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and VTOL systems. This engine is particularly suitable for the class of unmanned aerial vehicles with a take-off weight of up to 25 kg. The option of connecting a generator extends the range of applications to hybrid configurations that require the power of both combustion and electric engines.
